This is Vincenzo Maiorca
More than a skater.
More than a champion.
A mind and a body shaped by discipline.
Vincenzo often says he was just a child who fell in love with wheels.

He started skating almost as soon as he learned to walk.
His parents were coaches, and the rink was already part of his world. They brought him to competitions long before he was old enough to race. While others skated, he watched — curious, attentive, fascinated by the rhythm of the sport.
He tried many sports growing up, but none felt the same.
Skating stayed.

More than technique, his parents passed on something deeper: humility.
The ability to remain grounded, even when success arrives.
Consistency, sacrifice and daily repetition built his path.

"Because titles may define a career, but values define a life."

Winning is part of Vincenzo's story, but it has never been the only measure of it.

Through the years his discipline has been absolute.
He never skipped a training session unless he was physically unable to skate.
The sacrifices were real.
The routine demanding.
But he never experienced training as an obligation.
For him, it was always a pleasure.
Looking back, he says he wouldn’t change a single step of the journey.
Because the effort was never only about medals.
It was about becoming the kind of person capable of earning them.
And beyond the track, Vincenzo remains present — for his family, for his friends, for the people who have always supported him.

Speed wins races.
Balance builds a life.
Coaching children has always been part of Vincenzo's world.

His parents were already training young skaters when he was growing up. Their philosophy was simple: when children start skating, there is no competition.
There is only play.
Children can begin as young as four years old.
Groups are formed by skill, not age.
At the beginning everything revolves around discovery and fun.
Then, slowly, something changes.
The game becomes passion.
Working with children is also a constant source of inspiration for Vincenzo.
Watching them skate often helps him notice small mistakes or movements that even experienced athletes overlook. Sometimes their simplicity reminds him of things he can still improve.
They watch his competitions together through livestreams.
They follow every race.
They are his first supporters.

When Vincenzo carried the Olympic flame, he could hear them cheering while running.
Moments like that remind him that sport is not only sacrifice.
It must remain something that brings joy.
The passion that once inspired the child
now inspires the next generation.
"They were running with me."
Throughout his career, Vincenzo’s name has reached the top of national and international podiums.
Each title earned through years of discipline, sacrifice and consistency.
Winning the world championship was the dream of a lifetime.
When it finally happened, it took time for him to fully realise it.
Yet even after reaching that summit, his ambition remains simple.
To keep skating as long as it brings him joy.
If one day skating stops being fun, he says he will stop.
Because he never wants it to become just a job.
For him, skating must remain what it always was from the beginning.
A passion.
Vincenzo describes himself as a person guided by honesty, humility and strong values.
And even if he would never say it himself, we can.
He is not only a champion on the track. He is a champion in the way he lives.
